PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a sanitary washing device capable of being installed even in a place, wherein the quantity of water used is restricted, such as a ship, an aircraft, an automobile, a train, a solitary island or an arid region. SOLUTION: In the control method for the sanitary washing device 12, a private part is washed by using the water, stored in a water supply tank 11, so as to discharge it from a washing nozzle 13, and the water is discharged into a sewage tank 16 after use. The water, which is jetted from the washing nozzle 13 of the device 12, is saved in a case where the quantity of the water stored in the tank 11 is not more than a fixed value or in a case where sewage stored in the sewage tank 16 reaches not less than a fixed quantity.
