COLOR IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming method which comprises exposure and processing of a silver halide color photosensitive material with a laser or a light emitting diode on the basis of digitized image information and ensures superior productivity and good image quality. SOLUTION: In the color image forming method in which a silver halide color photosensitive material having silver halide emulsion layers and a non- photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on a paper base with resin coating layers disposed on both faces and having a non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on the rear face is wound around a rotary drum and subjected to scanning exposure to form a color image, the non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on the rear face contains an organopolysiloxane and the ratio of the total amount of binders on the silver halide emulsion layer side to that on the rear face side is >1 to <1.5.
