PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system in which an electronic mail service is available by a conventional phone connected to a telephone line network and to provide its processing method and its program. SOLUTION: In the electronic mail system of the 1st embodiment of this invention, an information processing server 100 and a 3rd party's terminal 300 are connected via the Internet 200 and the information processing server 100 and a fixed phone 500a/mobile phone 500b are connected via a telephone line network 400. A summarizing section 12 of the information processing server 100 summarizes contents of electronic mail received by a transmission reception section 11, a voice synthesis section 13 converts a summarized text or the whole text into a voice signal, and the transmission reception section 11 transmits the voice signal to the fixed phone 500a/mobile phone 500b with a destination telephone number via the telephone line network 400. Thus, it is not always required for a receiver side terminal to have a transmission reception function of electronic mail, a conventional phone can utilize this system so as to enhance the convenience of users.
