PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate visual confirmation of address in an electronic mail system so that incorrect transmission due to address confirmation miss is prevented. SOLUTION: From a mail address storage means 1 that stores the transmission destination address of e-mail that ha been inputted, the e-mail address is acquired by a mail address acquisition means 2. From the acquired e-mail address, the domain name is extracted by a mail address analysis means 3 according to hierarchy, and the hierarchy of the domain name that is to be compared with a domain examination means 4 is designated with an examination condition setting means 5 previously. The domain name extracted with the mail address analysis means 3 is compared by the domain examination means 4 according to hierarchy, and the comparison result is notified with an examination result notification means 6, so that the wrong transmission of e-mail is prevented.
