PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal that can transmit an image of one side/both sides intermingled originals without deteriorating communication compatibility to a receiver while attaching natural sender information to the image without giving a quaint impression onto a user of the receiver. SOLUTION: Whether or not image information on a rear side (front side) of an original read by a read circuit 14 under the control of a CPU 22 is full white image information almost having a full white level is detected. In detecting the full white image information, the facsimile terminal transmits the full white image information in compliance with the ITU-T recommendations T. 30 without attaching sender information corresponding to the full white image information to a receiver side. The facsimile terminal does not count up a page of the full white image information for number of page information included in the sender information, counts up pages of effective information not being the full white image information and to which the sender information is attached, an generates the sender information with a continuous serial page number only to the effective image information not being the full white image information.
