PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow confirmation of past broadcasting results of data broadcast contents in digital broadcast. SOLUTION: In a data broadcast contents producing apparatus, data broadcast contents are produced, and at the same time, for each contents file F which forms its minimum unit, comment lines for the past result confirmation is set, and information for confirming a broadcast past result notified from a host system is embedded. A data broadcast comment produced in this manner is accumulated in an accumulating device 5 and kept on standby, and when the broadcast time comes, it is read out from the accumulating device 5, transmitted to a broadcast apparatus 8 by a broadcast transmitting device 6, thus being supplied for broadcasting. However, the data broadcast comment is also supplied to a broadcast confirming device 7, and information for confirming the broadcast past result is extracted from comment lines for confirming the past result of each contents file F for storage and is recorded in a storage device 7a. The information is read out from the storage device 7a, and thus confirmation of the broadcast past result is performed.
