USE OF C1-ESTERASE INHIBITOR FOR PREVENTING OR DELAYING XENOTRANSPLANT REJECTION IN MAMMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation for preventing or delaying a hyperacute and/or acute rejection of xenotransplant in a mammal. SOLUTION: The preparation comprises a C1 esterase inhibitor (C1-INH). A xenotransplantation is carried out by a method for administering a therapeutically effective amount of the C1-INH) preparation to a recipient organism before a transplantation and, after the transplantation, daily administering a dose of the C1-INH preparation in an amount sufficient for preventing transplant rejection to the recipient organism.
