COATED AND GRANULATED FERTILIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated and granulated fertilizers having membranes containing polymer compounds in major proportions on it's surface and exhibiting slow releasability, and in particularly the fertilizer in which the elution of the fertilizer ingredients is accelerated within soil with the growth of the root system of plant, and the elution is controllable in accordance with the fertilizer ingredient demand of the plant. SOLUTION: The coated and granulated fertilizers have the membranes whose active ingredients are polymer compounds on its surface, wherein the membrane containing alkaline earth metal carbonate having specific surface area of 4 m<2> /g or more.
