PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device for stably traveling a carrying carriage by narrowing a gap between rails and rollers in a simple structure and a joint rail. SOLUTION: This carrying device 10 has the carrying carriage 16 mounted with a roller unit 14 thereon and a pair of left and right pipe rails 18 and 18 having circular section. The roller unit 14 is provided with a rectangular supporting frame 26 fixed as a rigid joint at the rear part of a yoke 22 and a plurality of rollers 28, 30 and 32 mounted rotatably on the supporting frame 26. A carrying track is constituted of a low layer horizontal track 36, a high layer horizontal track 38 and a three-dimensional track 40. The joint rail 46 is used between the rail 18 of the horizontal track 36 and the rail 18 of the three-dimensional track 40. In the joint rail 46, a vertical height is gradually reduced from the horizontal track 38 toward the three-dimensional track 40. The gap between the rails 18 and the traveling roller 28 and the floating preventing roller 30 can be narrowed.
