PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant excellent in dispersing and antistatic effects, a dispersion liquid in which fine powder of a ceramic raw material is well dispersed, and a ceramic product formed from the liquid. SOLUTION: The dispersant comprises a salt of an organic acid containing an amidinium cation of formula (1) (wherein, R1 is a 1-20C aliphatic hydrocarbon group with/without containing hydroxy group or hydrogen; and R2, R3, R4, and R5 are 1-20C aliphatic hydrocarbon groups with/without containing hydroxy, amino, nitro, cyano, carboxy, ether bond, or aldehyde, respectively). Two groups of R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 can be bonded to each other to form a divalent or a more valent group or to form a cyclic compound along with N. However, in case that R3 and R4 are bonded to form a divalent cyclic group, the resulting group is a saturated hydrocarbon group. The liquid in which fine powder of a ceramic raw material is well dispersed is prepared using the dispersant. The resulting liquid is formed, dried and fired to obtain the ceramic product. |
