<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper fixing method for a grand piano by which a damper is fixed without using a buffer material. SOLUTION: When a player steps on a damper pedal to raise a lever rod 54 and to upwardly turn an end 56a on the back direction side of a damper lever 56, the damper 66 rises from a string 2. While stepping on the damper pedal 52, the player turns an L-shaped pin 68 and hooks a hooked pawl with the damper pedal 56. The damper 66 is then fixed in the state of rising from the string. Accordingly, if the damper is fixed in the manner described above, the grand piano 1 can be transported without damaging the damper and without using the buffer material. If the damper is fixed in the manner described above, the labor of preparing a plurality of kinds of the buffer materials for each of the kinds of the pianos or for each of the group of the dampers like heretofore can be omitted.</p> |
