SOLUTION: This navigation device for the vehicle searching the route to a destination and guiding according to the route is provided with an information storage means 3 storing map information, a detour set means 4b setting detour point information and detour direction information, and a route search means 4a searching the route to the destination based on the map information stored in the information storage means 3. When a detour point is set by the detour set means 4b, the route search means 4a searches intersections within a prescribed range based on the coordinate values of the detour point as a point on the road corresponding to the set detour point, sets the search cost of the intersections high, and searches the route to the destination. |
