PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the degree of heating in the outlet refrigerant in an evaporator by a new system that differs from the conventional receiver cycle and accumulator cycle. SOLUTION: First and second heat exchange sections 2a and 2b are provided at a condenser 2, and a gas/liquid separator 2c for separating gas and liquid in a refrigerant is installed between the first and second heat exchange sections 2a and 2b, thus composing a pressure-reducing apparatus 3 by fixed restriction. Since refrigerant (b) in the gas/liquid separator 2c is subjected to saturation gas state, the state of a discharge refrigerant (a) in a compressor 1 turns into a superheated state, that is determined by the amount of heat exchange H1 of the first heat exchange section 2a. Then, since the compression process in the compressor 1 is basically an isoentropic change, an outlet refrigerant (e) in an evaporator 4 takes the degree of superheating SH, that is determined by the isoentropic line L3 when the state of the discharge refrigerant (a) is determined.
