PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a vibrating membrane separation apparatus capable of efficiently concentrating a (meth)acrylate polymer latex to a high concentration degree over a long period at a high permeation flow flux with the vibrating membrane separating apparatus. SOLUTION: A (meth)acrylate polymer latex is concentrated with a vibrating membrane separation apparatus by setting the maximum amplitude of the vibrating separation membrane to 10-15 mm or repeating the operation and interruption of the vibrating membrane separation apparatus.
