摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a liquid crystal display device by performing polar inversion in a long cycle equal to or longer than one hour to lower the power source voltage of a driver in a passive matrix type liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device realizes polar inversion having a long cycle without making a user feed unnatural feeling on an image by performing it only at the time not in use such as the raising time of the power source of the device, the falling time of the power source to be designated by the user.
