PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system for a vehicle, in which the running-in of a compressor can be precisely performed under the predetermined conditions by automatic control. SOLUTION: The system comprises determination means (S10 to S40) for determining the first running of the compressor after being installed on the vehicle, and control means (S50, S70, S80) for making the compressor run for a predetermined time without exceeding a predetermined number of revolutions, when the determination means (S10 to S40) have determined the first running of the compressor. In this manner, after the first running of the compressor has been determined, the compressor can be made to run, by automatic control, for the predetermined time without exceeding the predetermined number of revolutions. As a result, the running-in of the compressor can be precisely performed by automatic control, and the deterioration of durability, or the like, resulting from a lack of the running-in of the compressor can be prevented.
