PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bleaching and sterilizing rush by ozone and hydrogen peroxide to produce a rush product and a rush mat, having high quality, and to provide a using method. SOLUTION: This method comprises bleaching and sterilizing the rush by the ozone generated by an ozonizer and the hydrogen peroxide. The using method is also provided.
