PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a high lift work vehicle causing no damage of a workbench and a boom even when the workbench is pressed to a work object by erroneous moving operation of the workbench. SOLUTION: A hydraulic fluid supply cutoff control part 76 of a controller 70 detects that either of levers 51 to 54 is operated on the basis of output of an operation command signal outputted by operation of the levers 51 to 54, and when detecting that delivery pressure of a first hydraulic pump P1 reaches predetermined reference pressure on the basis of detecting information from a delivery pressure detector 85 in a state of detecting that operation of a hydraulic actuator corresponding to the levers almost stops on the basis of detecting information from detectors 81 to 84, supply of a hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic actuator is cut off by driving control valves V1 to V4.
