PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition having good storage stability. SOLUTION: This ink composition comprises at least a liquid dispersion medium containing colorant, a permeating agent, humectant and water as a main solvent, wherein the colorant is dispersed in the dispersion medium by using a water-soluble resin containing anionic radicals. In this ink composition, the ink drying time is 10 seconds or more when a print is produced with 2 mg/cm<2> of an ink-striking amount per unit area on a prescribed printing medium, and the concentration of free univalent anions which exist in the ink composition is 700 ppm or less. |
