PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor required for the input work for acquiring information that a user desires when getting access to the Internet, and to improve the operability. SOLUTION: Figures 5 (a) to 5 (e) show menu screens displayed when descending the hierarchies in sequence. A S code indicates a numeric given to every item in correspondence with the hierarchical structure. For instance, a S code for getting access to (b) is '02', and a S code for getting access to (c) is '0203'. For getting access to each screen, descending the hierarchies stepwise is a method, and it is also possible to get access to the desired screen directly by inputting its S code directly. In that case, only inputting a simple numeric value easily permits the access to a desired site, and the operability is improved.
