<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a transmission method wherein quadrature multivalued modulation is applied to an UWB-IR system, high quality and high transmission rate are realized by increasing pulse intervals without decreasing transmission rate and the number of pulses, enables interference exclusion simultaneously, and the problem that a large amount of codes are used is solved by separating multiple access from codes showing information. SOLUTION: An orthogonal component element selecting circuit 102 outputs selectively a plurality of orthogonal component elements which are mutually orthogonal. An information signal from an information signal source 101 is converted into orthogonal component elements by the selecting circuit 102. A frame clock signal which is produced by a frame clock forming circuit 103 and a channeling code forming circuit 104 and turned into modulation codes is modulated by the orthogonal component elements.</p> |
