PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for concentrating a (meth)acrylate polymer latex capable of efficiently concentrating the latex to a high concentration degree over a long period at a high permeation flow flux using a vibrating membrane separating apparatus. SOLUTION: The method for concentrating a (meth)acrylate polymer latex comprises the concentration of the latex with a vibrating membrane separating apparatus after the addition of 0.2-2 pts.wt. of an anionic surfactant or a nonionic surfactant to 100 pts.wt. of the polymer of the (meth)acrylate polymer latex or, when the pH of the (meth)acrylate polymer latex is 2-6, after adjusting the pH to 7-10.
