PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound and drug for the skin for external use which can stably supply the keratin with 1-type ceramide. SOLUTION: The compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein R<1> is a 9-35C straight or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group which is saturated or unsaturated and may have hydroxy group; R<2> is a 2-34C straight-chain or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group which is saturated or unsaturated and may have hydroxy group; and R<3> is a 2-30C straight-chain or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group which is saturated or unsaturated and may have hydroxy group).
