The invention concerns a braking device with pedal free travel take-up, in particular for motor vehicle, comprising a servomotor (10) whereof the mobile wall (12) is mounted sliding axially on the servomotor piston (22) and is supported on the master cylinder primary piston (38), the forward displacement of said piston by the mobile wall (12) at the start of braking causing an increase of pressure in the braking circuit which results in a pedal free travel take-up at the end of which the mobile wall (12) is secured in translation with the piston (22) of the servomotor.
