The invention relates to a locking cylinder comprising at least one cylindrical core (2, 3) that is mounted in a housing (1). Said cylinder has an electromechanical locking mechanism comprising an electromotor (5), which with the help of an eccentric drive withdraws a bolt (8) out of the housing (1) and inserts it into a cavity (10) of the cylindrical core (2, 3) and reverses the operation. For this purpose, a crank pin (7) is eccentrically mounted on a crank disc (6), said pin engaging in a guide slot (9) on the shaft end of the bolt (8). The electromotor (5) can be controlled in the rotational direction and the turning circle (11) of the crank pin (7) is limited by a stop. Said limitation of the turning circle of the crank pin (7) takes place in a position above the dead centre of the crank or eccentric drive, in such a way that the bolt (8) is held stable in the locking position and cannot be pushed back. In addition, the electromotor (5) can be released in the start-up phase before each stroke or switching operation. |
