A fuel injection unit for the injection of fuel in an internal combustion engine comprises at least one fuel injection valve (1) and a fuel distribution line (3), comprising a connector fitting (5) for each fuel injection valve (1) which may be connected to the inlet side end (5) of said injection valve (1). An annular seal (4) is provided for a sealed connection of each fuel injection valve (1) to the provided connector fitting (5) on the fuel distribution line (3). The connector fitting (5) is formed such that, after assembly of the seal (4) on the fuel injection valve (1) end of the connector fitting (5), the connector fitting (5) may be pushed into the inlet side end (7) of the fuel injection valve (1), whereby a spring element (8) is arranged between the connector fitting (5) and an internal support surface (9) of the fuel injection valve (1). |
