Guttering sections 11 of rectangular channel section are secured within a union 15, of similar section but with inwardly directed flanges 18 along the upper edges of the side walls 17, by a spacer member 24 wedged between opposed walls 14 of each guttering section 11. The flanges 18 are cut away in the middle of the union 15 to admit the member 24 and the member 24 is notched at 25 to engage over the flanges 18. Rubber 22 or the like is bonded to the inner surface of the union 15 to form a seal. The guttering may be of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride. |
