An electrical connector (10) for connecting multiple conductor cable, ideall y a flat flexible cable (12). The connector has base (16) for holding multiple contacts. The contacts (18) are positioned substantially parallel to each other and are located at least partially within the base. Each contact has a t least one cutting edge (34), the edge being capable of removing insulation from flat flexible cable. An interlocable actuator (24) for pressing the cab le is also provided.
