PURPOSE: A method for assembling a vehicle body is provided to reduce the number of facilities and space for assembling a vehicle body by simplifying the assembling process. CONSTITUTION: An outer panel(41) and an inner panel(42) are combined by using an overhead hanger(30) having a reference pin and a clamp. Thus, an inner complete and an outer complete are set up. The inner complete and the outer complete are transferred in the main buck(50) process by the overhead hanger. By using a robot(51) of the main buck, the overhead hanger and a side complete are combined with a floor complete(52) and a roof assembly(53) in a body build line. A vehicle body frame is formed by the temporary spot welding of a welding robot, and then, entire spot welding is performed in the body build line.
