<p>Ball projecting apparatus that enables a golfer to play shots with enhanced accuracy and consistency. The apparatus consists of a small target surface that receives force from a golf club and through a striker element transmits the force to a projecting surface which propels a golf ball along a predetermined flight path. The target surface is substantially aligned with the ball's point of contact with the projecting surface and the centre of the ball. Stability of the striker is acheived using one or more piercing parts that engage with the ground, and also by using weighting. Friction properties of the projecting surface and the constraining of its movement are further used to control the ball's spin. Further disclosed is a striking element that has a vertical projecting surface which is used to increase putting accuracy. Also disclosed is apparatus to project a golf ball with increased distance.</p> |
