Process for fixing a layered roof construction for a building comprises connecting at least one vapor barrier layer (1), one heat-insulating layer (2) and an outer weather-resistant cover (3) using a spot fixing device (7) to an inner support surface (6) connected to a subconstruction receiving the entire roof load. The vapor barrier layer consists of a vapor barrier foil which is stuck onto the inner support surface. An Independent claim is also included for a layered roof construction formed and fixed using the above process. Preferred Features: The fixing device is a screw bolt. The support surface and/or the cover are preferably made of sheet metal consisting of surface-protected steel, stainless steel, copper or aluminum, or of a fiber-reinforced plastic profile. The vapor barrier foil is a plastic/metal composite foil.
