The electrical overload protection switch (1a) has an arc extinguishing unit (3) with a pre chamber (5) consisting of a extinguishing chamber (4) with multiple plates. An arcing rail (7) has a contact (9) on a hook shaped end. The second arcing rail (12) extends into a bubble loop (13) which encloses a permanent magnet (14) that produced a field for directing the arc into the extinguishing chamber.
