Motorcycle pannier case attached to motorcycle frame by rail fitting

A motorcycle has a pannier case which is attached to the motorcycle frame by a fitting which engages in a matching part of the pannier case. The case is secured by a combination of hook-form and locking friction. The supporting fixture is a rail orientated in the direction of vehicle motion and having a T-profile. The profile engages in an approx. matching recess in the pannier case wall.
