The invention relates to a screwdriver comprising a shaft (1), one end of which is provided with engaging means (2) for engaging with a screw head and the other end of which is provided with a handle (3), in which the shaft (1) is anchored. The aim of the invention is to improve the handling of a screwdriver of this type, when screwing in small screws that are sensitive to stress. To achieve this, the handle (3) can be twisted in relation to the shaft (1), when subjected to the torque that is transferred from the screwdriver, by an elastic deformation of at least sections of said handle (3) and an indicator is provided on the handle (3), by means of which the relative movement between the handle (3) and the shaft (1) can be observed.
