<p>Biological sewage processing plant, comprises a bioreactor (3) at the outlet side of a sludge basin, with an eddy carrier (10) for colonies of micro-organisms. A storage basin (2), for partially activated sludge, is between the initial processing basin and the bioreactor, with a sludge feed (7) into the bioreactor. The micro-organism carrier takes up about 50% of the bioreactor. The micro-organism carrier has a density of 0.80-0.98 g/cm<3>, with a physical surface with a bulk volume of 200-500 m<2>/m<2>. A trap (9) in the bioreactor has openings matching the geometry of the carrier particles, so that the carrier material is retained on water take-off. A conventional take-off within the trap is linked to an external outflow (11).</p> |
