<p>Techniques for pacing the heart of a patient as a function of an intra-cardiac pressure make use of a pressure monitor that receives a pressure signal from a pressure sensor in the patient's right ventricle. The pressure monitor estimates the patient's pulmonary artery diastolic pressure. A rate-responsive pacemaker paces the patient's heart as a function of the estimated pulmonary artery diastolic pressure.</p> |
