The method is for controlling a building closure drive in the event of a disruption caused by erroneous matching between a control device and a controlled drive device or drive-building closure unit. The method involves establishing whether the disruption can be removed automatically by the control, indicating a removal or non-removal of the disruption to an operator, and removing the disruption automatically by control for a corresponding command of the operator. Independent claims are given for following:- (1) A procedure for effecting closure of the building gate or door; (2) A door, especially a garage door.
