<p>The invention relates to a fuse-holder base comprising a cover (1) and a fixed (2) or retractable (2') handle which is used for opening and closing the corresponding base and for disconnecting/connecting the fuse (3) which is removably secured to the cover (1). Handle 2 is fixed to the cover (1) while handle 2' is retractable and can occupy an operating position and a rest position. Both types of handles are provided with lateral flanges (10) that are mounted in recesses (7) which are disposed on the sides of the cover (1). Said lateral flanges and recesses are coupled by means of respective spherical surfaces which leave a certain degree of clearance between the handle and the cover in order to provide improved resistance to sudden forces that may occur. The fixed handle is locked in position using handle grooves (11) which are positioned in indents (5) in the fixed cover (2). The retractable handle is locked in position using sliding parts (9) which are positioned in slots (16 or 17) in the retractable handle (2'). The front part of the cover (1) is provided with a sliding part (4) which is used to fix or release the corresponding fuse from the external part of the cover.</p> |
