[Also in Division C2] Complexes of (a) an organic compound having the formula:- in which R is methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or secbutyl, and (b) one of the salts zinc chloride, zinc bromide, zinc acetate, zinc propionate, copper (II) chloride, copper (II) bromide, copper (II) acetate and copper (II) propionate are used as active agents in fungicidal compositions. These compositions may contain conventional carriers, surface active agents and one or more bactericides, insecticides, acaricides, nematocides, and additional fungicides. Lists of such adjuvants and pesticides are given. Examples are also given of compositions containing one of the complexes and (a) parathion or Diazinon; (b) DDT methoxychlor, TDE or Gathion; (c) Kelthane (reg. Trade Mark), difocol; (d) maneb or Lannate (reg. Trade Mark, methomyl; (e) captan and folpet and (f) toxaphene.</p> |
