COOLING TANK

A tank is provided which is capable of storing, while cooling, a liquid, such as drink, whose storage temperature is close to 0°C or below, as in cow's milk. A cooling tank (1) can be transported by being mounted on a truck or the like while storing and cooling cow's milk. Brine (antifreeze solution) whose freezing point is below 0°C is cooled in a cooling unit (34), characterized in that the brine is flowed without stagnation along the liquid passageways formed in the inside of fluid guide members (14, 18) installed on the wall surface of the tank main body (10). As for the cooling unit 34, for example, use is made of what is capable of cooling the brine by an evaporator in a heat pump type refrigerator (30) using a refrigerant. Since brine, whose freezing point is below 0°C, is used, a large-sized cooling water tank becomes unnecessary, and since the brine is flowed without stagnation, the liquid inside can be efficiently cooled.
