<p>The invention relates to a positioning device with differential division comprising: a fixed body (1), which is provided with a crown having an end toothed section with a certain number N1 of teeth; a second body (3), which supports a second end crown with a number N2 of teeth; and a third intermediary body (2), which comprises two end toothed sections, one end having a number N1 and the other end having a number N2 of corresponding teeth which engage with the teeth belonging to the crowns of parts 1 and 2. The inventive device is characterised in that the value for the minimum angle achieved during positioning (i. e. the difference between the angle between the teeth of the first crown and the angle between the teeth of the second crown) is an exact decimal number. Said minimum angle of differential movement is 0.1°, for which the corresponding data numbers equal 144 and 150 teeth respectively. When the minimum differential angle is 0.05°, the number of teeth equal 119 and 121 and, when the differential movement angle is 0.5°, the number of teeth equal 144 and 120. The invention can be widely used with respect to machine tools, work centres and milling machines.</p> |
