A climate controlled room has a closed circuit heat supply consisting of a network of channels (1, 2, 3) for a variable-phase heat medium. The system has an internal and external heat exchanger (6, 7) linked on one side by a compressor (4) and the other by an expansion valve (5). A by-pass passage (14, 15) is arranged parallel to the heat exchanger (6. 7) in the direction of flow after an expansion valve (5). A phase separator (16, 17) is arranged at the by-pass branch point. The phase separator fluid outlet feeds the heat exchanger, and the gas outlet feeds the by-pass passage (14, 15). A throttle (18) is located in the gas outlet.
