<p>A carrier is digitally watermarked (101) and an image is printed oon top of the carrier that has been digitally watermarked (102). This watermark can be read by a watermark reading program. If copies are produced (103 and 104), i.e. scanning or photocpying, of this digitally watermark then the copies will bear the watermark and can be read by a watermark read program (105) or be visible on a photocopy of the image.</p> |
