<p>A stabilized fluorine-containing polymer powder which has an average particle diameter of 5 to 100 νm and has unstable terminal groups in a content wherein seven to fifty unstable terminal groups are present in total relative to 106 carbon atoms; and a method for producing the fluorine-containing polymer powder which comprises preparing a fluorine-containing polymer powder by a crushing method, removing fine particles, particles in a fiber form and coarse particles by classification, and contacting the resultant fluorine-containing polymer powder with a fluorinating agent. The stabilized fluorine-containing polymer powder achieves high transfer efficiency and also provides a coating film exhibiting excellent heat resistance, non-tackiness, low friction, excellent chemical resistance and the like, in an electrostatic coating.</p> |
