A control valve device has a position valve for controlling the inflow-side and outflow-side of the consumer load, in which the position valve is actuated by means of an electrical drive device. The position valve (3) has control piston (4a,4b;4b,4a) for controlling the inflow and outflow sides, respectively, in which the control pistons are each actively electrically connected to an electrical drive device (15a,15b) arranged on a side-face of the control valve device (1).
