The bearing structure is in a vehicle with a front wheel housing (2) and a front longitudinal bearer (3) which runs partly in the lower region of the wheel housing. There is a wheel housing bearer (5) between the longitudinal bearer and the wheel housing. This bearer is connected to the front longitudinal bearer at least in the vicinity of the wheel housing, so that in the event of a frontal impact, the longitudinal bearer is supported against bending upwards. The longitudinal bearer may form part of a hollow bearer.
