The invention concerns a reinforced tube obtained by winding on a tubular mandrel based on a polymer composition reinforcing strips comprising a polymer composition oriented in crossed layers at an equal opposite angle relative to the direction of the tube. The strips are selected among those whereof the polymer composition exhibits specific mechanical properties of tensile strength.
