The invention relates to a combined electrolysis method, wherein sodium peroxodisulfate is anodically produced and sodium dithionite is cathodically produced in one or several electrolysis cell(s) that are divided into two by cation exchange membranes and having anodes made of smooth platinum or valve metals coated with platinum or diamond and cathodes made of carbon, special steel, silver or materials coated with platinum metals at flow densities of 1.5 to 6 KA/m2 and temperatures ranging from 20 to 60 DEG C.
