<p>The invention is directed to a method and composition for enhancing the staining of tissues suspected of harboring a microorganism, in particular heliobacter pylori, which is responsibel for gastrointestinal ulcers. The composition is a sensitizer for Alcian Yellow stain and comprises Alcian Yellow (CAS# 61968-76-1, C.I 12840) and sodium deoxycholate (CAS# 145-41-5) as a bile salt.</p> |
