Device for interactive rehabilitation support using computer-supported training that is independently carried out by a patient with an input device for entry of patient commands. The input device includes an additional gesture recognition system. The gesture recognition system is programmed, in a repeatable adaptation phase, to recognize patient gestures with the gesture recognition based on Hidden Markov Models.
